Alain GiguèreA graduate of the Université de Montréal, where he studied under Vladimir Landsman, Alain Giguère began his musical training with Jean Cousineau at the École des Petits Violons. He is both a founding and a current member of a number of ensembles in the Montreal region: the Orchestre Métropolitain du grand Montréal, the Orchestre Symphonique de Longueuil, the Orchestre Symphonique de Laval and the Nouvel Ensemble Moderne (NEM), with which he performs regularly as a soloist.

He was also invited to perform Philippe Leroux’s d’Aller at the Festival de Montpellier with the Orchestre Symphonique de Radio-France, under the direction of Pierre-André Valade.
